What the BEAM score means.

The score is a quick readiness guide. Higher scores mean the image is already in strong shape for engraving; lower scores mean more manual preparation is recommended before export.

92–100
NO ACTION REQUIRED

The image is in the strongest readiness range. No additional BEAM correction is required before continuing.

80–91
MANUAL OPTIONAL

The image is usable, but the user may choose to make manual refinements if they want to improve the result further.

0–67
USE MANUAL WORKFLOW

The image needs more preparation. Move to the Manual Workflow rather than treating the current image as laser-ready.

These are the same Auto Prep BEAM score thresholds used by Image2Beam: 92–100 No Action Required, 80–91 Manual Optional, 68–79 Manual Recommended, and 0–67 Use Manual Workflow.

Find weak images early

Low-contrast images often engrave flat or muddy. BEAM Analysis gives the user an immediate sense of whether the image has enough separation to work well.

Fine detail can disappear or turn messy in an engraving. The analysis helps frame whether the image has the right level of detail for the job.
